Why Buy This Home…
Unpack, put the kettle on and make yourself at home. Beautifully finished and full of warmth, this four bedroom semi detached in Newton Longville is somewhere you can settle into from day one. With over 1,250 sq ft of space, it has room for busy family life, evenings with friends and those quieter moments when you just want to put your feet up. With no work needed, your weekends can be spent enjoying your new home.
The welcome starts in the porch, where muddy shoes and coats can be left after a village walk. Inside, wood flooring and oak internal doors set the tone, giving the hallway a warm, timeless feel. A downstairs W/C is handy for children and guests, too.
The living room is the kind of space that makes you want to stay a little longer. Soft colours and a fireplace create a cosy setting, with plenty of room for generous sofas so everyone can get comfortable. Picture the curtains drawn, something good on the television and the whole family settling down for the evening.
Across the hallway, the separate dining room gives you a reason to get everyone around the table. Sunday lunches that stretch into the afternoon, birthday dinners with friends or a competitive board game after tea, there’s space to enjoy it all. It also gives you the freedom to leave the table set while keeping the kitchen clear.
If you love the idea of a bigger kitchen/diner, there’s potential to explore opening the two rooms together, subject to the necessary checks and approvals. That could create a sociable space for cooking, chatting and spending time together, although the current layout already works beautifully.
At the rear, the kitchen/breakfast room is somewhere you’ll naturally find yourself throughout the day, from a quick breakfast before the school run to a coffee and a catch up at the weekend. Double doors open onto the garden, bringing a welcome breeze through on warm days and making summer entertaining easy. A separate utility keeps laundry and everyday chores tucked away, leaving the kitchen for cooking and enjoying.
The garden gives you another place to unwind. Take your first coffee outside, get the barbecue going when friends arrive or enjoy dinner in the evening sunshine. With access straight from the kitchen, it feels connected to the house, so carrying drinks and food outside is easy and everyone can drift between the two.
Upstairs, the main bedroom offers a calm retreat at the end of the day. There’s plenty of room for freestanding wardrobes, or you could add fitted storage to suit your needs. Your own ensuite adds that little bit of everyday comfort, especially when everyone is getting ready at once.
The second and third bedrooms are both doubles, giving children space to grow, with room for toys now and desks as they get older. The fourth bedroom can adapt around your life, whether you need a nursery, a dedicated place to work or a welcoming room for overnight guests. A family bathroom completes the upstairs.
Outside, the block paved driveway makes coming home with shopping, school bags and tired little ones that much easier, while planted borders give the front a welcoming finish.
What makes this home so appealing is how comfortably it all comes together. The finish, the warmth and the generous rooms mean you can move straight in and start enjoying it, with space for your family to grow and make memories along the way.
More about the location...
Newton Longville is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of Buckinghamshire. The village is about 2 miles (3 km) south-west of Bletchley.
The main industry in the village between 1847 and 1991 was brick making. The village had a large brick factory, originally belonging to the Read family, becoming the Bletchley Brick company in 1923, and then taken over by the London Brick Company (LBC) in 1929. The works made Fletton bricks and distributed them all over the country. It was closed in November 1991 after Hanson Trust bought the London Brick Company.
Newton Longville Church of England Combined School is a mixed, voluntary controlled primary school, that takes children between the ages of four and eleven. It has slightly over 200 pupils.
