Ref No: KE003-LI-SA216
A charming and beautifully presented end-terrace house in a great location less than a mile from Maidenhead town centre.
107 Westborough Road is perfect for anyone looking for a stylish home with lots of character, in a great location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, it has been a cherished family home for six years. It’s situated to the west of Maidenhead, less than a mile from the train station, so whether you’re searching for a great commute via train or the M4, or easy access to the beautiful Berkshire countryside, this lovely home offers it all.
Outside you’ll approach the house through the gate in the pretty white picket fence, and walk up to the contemporary grey front door. Downstairs there are two cosy reception rooms, one with a log burner, and a gorgeous kitchen/diner with large patio doors that let in plenty of light from the garden. The current owners tell us that thanks to its orientation, this is a lovely light home which gets sunlight in different rooms throughout the day.
The front door opens into an entrance porch which leads into the first of the two reception rooms, currently being used as a cosy snug but would also work as a home office or playroom. Walking through this room leads you into the sitting room where the focal point is the log-burning stove where you can curl up with a glass of wine on a winter’s evening. This room gets the afternoon and early evening sun which gives it a lovely atmosphere.
The kitchen/diner gets the sun in the morning which makes it a lovely breakfast room. Featuring a traditional butler’s sink and gorgeous solid wood worktops, this kitchen is a lovely blend of traditional and contemporary, with wooden floors, modern cabinets providing plenty of storage space, and a double oven with gas hob.
Stairs from the sitting room lead upstairs where you’ll find three good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master suite is bright and sunny thanks to the light-well, and there is a good-sized alcove in this room where you could easily install fitted wardrobes. The modern family bathroom features contemporary mosaic tiling and has a spacious bathtub with overhead shower.
Outside to the rear you’ll find a very pretty private garden which is part gravelled and part-lawned, where you’ll enjoy throwing open the double doors in on a summer’s evening to enjoy some al-fresco dining.
